As the face of optical manufacturing changes within the UK there have been many acquisitions within our industry in recent years.

Nevertheless, Wolds Optical remain a fully independent family owned and managed business. Based in Driffield, East Yorks we have close links with all the major manufacturers so that we can supply the most suitable products you need for your individual patients without limiting you to just one brand.

We are not owned by any other supplier and are proud to be fully independent as we continue to support independent opticians throughout the UK.

Wolds Optical  are open for business as usual.

During these strange times, having just entered England’s third national lockdown, we want you to know that Wolds Optical is fully open and operational, with all our services running as normal.

We are still taking all possible precautions to make Wolds Optical a safe working place for our employees, these include socially distanced working zones, staggered break times, extra cleaning throughout the day and hand sanitising stations in every department.

Our top priority at all times, and especially during this pandemic, is supporting you and your business, keeping the disruption to a minimum.
